![]() ![]() We were met at the door by a woman who greeted us warmly. I remembered passing Villa Nuova the day before and we decided to give it a try. Deptford has plenty to choose from, but we've been to most multiple times and we needed a new scene. ![]() We were looking for a new spot for dinner. The food quality and preparation would be much closer to Italy and the service would be superior than what Villa Nuova in Deptford, NJ could offer on a good day. Go to Wawa instead, or maybe Olive Garder. Save yourselves some headaches and avoid Villa Nuova in Deptford, NJ. (Hopefully he did not share his germs with any food) I appreciate trying new places, but this new place seemed more like an old abomination that was never neutralized. A cook came out from the back area liking his fingers and "adjusting himself" in the dining area - then headed past the restroom and back into the cooking area. I asked for the Pollo Maximo from the usual menu, which was granted, but initially I was given Chicken Parm. The menu, while handwritten for the day in question, was limited, but none of this was identified online. which makes me think the CO2/soda machine was inoperable. ![]() Soda was being poured from 2 liter bottles. The pizzeria that also offers a small dining room, seemed understaffed, and most of the staff seemed inexperienced. Mother's Day, May 14th, was an unfortunate nightmare. We love to tryout restaurants with have never been to previously.
